Marieke is a fine art photographer and director based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Her work explores how people move through the outer world while carrying their inner emotional worlds with them.

By creating moments of intimate connection, she finds glimpses of pure soul energy in people's eyes. She quietly observes how a person's energy fills a room, or how a subtle interaction changes the air. Capturing these moments is never a matter of active direction, but of intuition and a sense of freedom in the moment.
